During my last stay in Havana, I had the pleasure to attend the evening event dedicated to the launch of the new Cuban regional edition cigar Diplomatico Excelencia.
The event took place at La Casa del Habano Club Habana, Friday 23 October 2015.
At six in the afternoon we found La Casa del Habano. Each guest had a free pretty box containing a cutter, a lighter and a course Excelencia.
The evening was magnificent. The parterre was packed with people, ambassadors, businessmen and the upper echelons of Habanos SA. The organization had prepared outdoors. Waiters passed offering mojito and Ron Santiago de Cuba 11 years continuously.
After listening to the words of the head of marketing of Habanos SA and the owner of La Casa del Habano, we turned on the Excelencia, while a musical group was performing in classic Cuban music.
The Excelencia is a robusto, ring gauge 50 X 124 mm, vitola missing in the normal production of Diplomatico brand.
It is made in 7000 boxes of ten cigars.
At the moment, you can buy Excelencia at La Casa del Habano Club Habana. Following you will find it in the others La Casa del Habano of Cuba.
The Excelencia is a very pleasant smoke. The great draw, even in long breaks stays on without the need for any adjustments.
A photo, a rhum, a puff, the Excelencia flew away, as night fell on Club Habana.

Durante il mio ultimo soggiorno a l’Avana, ho avuto il piacere di partecipare alla serata evento dedicata al lancio del nuovo sigaro edizione regionale cubana, Diplomatico Excelencia.
L’evento ha avuto luogo presso La Casa del Habano del Club Habana, venerdi 23 ottobre 2015.
Alle sei del pomeriggio ci siamo trovati a La Casa del Habano . Ogni invitato ha avuto in omaggio una graziosa confezione che conteneva un tagliasigari, un accendino e naturalmente un Excelencia.
La serata era magnifica. Il parterre era gremito di persone, ambasciatori, uomini di affari e le alte sfere di Habanos SA.
L’organizzazione aveva preparato all’aperto. Camerieri passavano offrendo mojito e ron Santiago de Cuba 11 anni in continuazione.
Dopo aver ascoltato le parole del responsabile marketing di Habanos SA e del patron de La Casa del Habano, abbiamo acceso l’Excelencia, mentre un gruppetto musicale si esibiva nei classici della musica cubana.
L’Excelencia è un robusto, cepo 50 per mm 124, vitola che manca nella normale produzione della marca Diplomatico.
La produzione prevede 7000 scatole da 10 sigari ognuna.
L’Excelencia è una fumata assai gradevole. Il tiraggio ottimo, anche nelle pause lunghe rimane acceso senza bisogno di eventuali correzioni.
L’Excelencia la si può acquistare solamente presso La Casa del Habano del Club Habana. In seguito sarà possibile acquistarla presso tutte le altre Casa del Habano di Cuba.
Tra una foto, un traco de ron, un puff, l’Excelencia è volato via, mentre la notte calava sul Club Habana.
