In summer, the large upper terrace offers a fresh wind even in the nights warmer. From here you can admire the roofs of Rome, but also the numerous monuments among which the Vittoriano and the dome of St. Peter.

Located on the sixth floor of the building, the Savoy’s restaurant has menus that refer to the Italian culinary tradition.
Just got off the elevator, you will forget about staying in the city. You will be lulled by the soft emitted from the atmosphere, away from traffic and horn.
Curated by director Aldo Arrigoni, the quality of the food is consistently good. Great service, has a friendly and professional staff.
When I want to escape from reality, I take refuge on one of these terraces, with my good cigar and rum.

Iniziamo oggi una nuova rubrica dedicata ai luoghi dove si può degustare un sigaro in tutta tranquillità.
A via Ludovisi, angolo via Veneto, troviamo l’hotel Savoy, una struttura quattro stelle che richiama alla memoria il famoso Savoy di Londra.
Il roof garden dell’hotel Savoy di Roma ha due splendide terrazze che offrono un panorama straordinario, unico. Luogo ideale dove fumare un habano.
In estate, l’ampia terrazza superiore offre un vento fresco anche nelle nottate più calde. Da qui si possono ammirare i tetti di Roma, ma anche i numerosi monumenti tra i quali spiccano il Vittoriano e la cupola di San Pietro.
Una vista a 360 gradi che spazia a non finire.
Sulla terrazza al piano sottostante, riparata dalle intemperie da vetrate ai lati e da un soffitto a scomparsa, il panorama è ridotto ma si può godere di un ottimo sigaro anche in fredde giornate autunnali.
In questa splendida cornice si può usufruire sia del ristorante che del bar. Quindi potete andare in qualsiasi ora della giornata. Se poi siete sprovvisti di sigaro, qualcuno verrà in vostro aiuto.
Situato al sesto piano dell’edificio, il ristorante del Savoy ha dei menu che rimandano alla tradizione culinaria italiana.
Appena usciti dall’ascensore, vi dimenticherete di stare in città. Verrete cullati dalla morbida atmosfera sprigionata dall’ambiente, lontani da traffico e clacson.
Curato dal direttore Aldo Arrigoni, la qualità dei piatti è buona e costante. Il servizio ottimo, dispone di un personale gentile e professionale.
Quando ho voglia di fuggire dalla realtà, mi rifugio su una di queste terrazze, col mio sigaro ed ottimo rum.
