Montecristo Churchills Anejados

Montecristo is the most popular brand of Cuban cigars and most appreciated. I am very attached to this brand because , like many, I started smoking cigars thanks to a Montecristo.

The name was taken from the novel Montecristo The Count of Montecristo , by Alexandre Dumas. The reader was reading this news to the Factory torcedores H.Upmann , in La Habana . Right here is this brand founded in 1935.

Such was the success of this novel at torcedores , they decided to give the name of the protagonist of the new brand.

The historical range of Montecristo was composed , initially , from cigars numbered from 1 to 5 . Later , the brand will expand its vitolario to new formats .

Edmundo was born in 2004 , the new format of the Montecristo brand . A cigar significant size, with a 52- cepo for a wide mm.135 .  Dedicated to smokers who like cigars from cepo gordo .

Two years later, this line is completed by the Petit Edmundo , a cigar that always presents a cepo of 52  per mm.110, less so than Edmundo . Suitable for smoke short prerogative became important after the laws that prohibit smoking in enclosed spaces , the Petit Edmundo was a great success .

I must say that these two new cigars are of lower strength than the classic line. Remain the most delicate . Maybe lose the personality that characterizes a Montecristo 2 or 3 .

In 2009, the range is completed with the Montecristo Open line , which includes four new formats.

Among the Montecristo cigars , there are some that have marked the history of Cuban tobacco , such as Montecristo n. 2.

When I think of a pyramid , my mind immediately associates this format to the Montecristo No.2 . A large cigar. Strong, decisive . Unleash all the character of a habano worthy of the name . Presents a cepo of 52 for a length of mm.156 . A classic format that never disappoints . Its pointed head allows you to smoke a fat cigar without  keep your mouth open . For me one of the most delicious Cuban cigars ever.

Another historic cigar is the Montecristo n. 4, a mareva of cepo 42 and a length of mm.129 . Who among us has never smoked! ? ! ?

When I started smoking Cuban cigars , Montecristo n. 4 was the most readily available . Of flavor and strength consistent, the Montecristo n. 4 is the cigar that everyone should re-evaluate .

Maybe because we just started smoking cigars with him , many of us forget it and do not smoke more . Gentlemen attention. The Montecristo n. 4 is a petit corona well made, suitable for strong palates . Let’s go back to smoke , you will not disappoint us.

Another noteworthy cigar is the Montecristo A. In this case we talk about the top of the Cuban production . It’s a gran corona size , cepo 47 length of mm.235 . You will need two hours to smoke it, very good during  spring  which it will keep you company for a whole afternoon .

It is sold in boxes of five units , each packaged in a precious little box of polished wood. A cigar definitely not for everyday, but for truly memorable smoke .

Following, Italian version.
