My dear cigars aficionados, another MB Cigar Lady. This time we meet terri, let’s read the interview.
when did you start to smoke cigar?
I started smoking cigars about 7 years ago.
why did you start to smoke?
I’m a paralegal and I was contracting on a case and the defense settled. The team was invited to dinner at a steak house in Seattle that had a cigar lounge within it. After dinner we retired to the lounge for a smoke and a box of Padron 1926 Series was being passed around. I didn’t take one and I handed the box off. I was asked if I smoked cigars? I said no however I have always enjoyed the smell of Tabacco especially pipe Tabacco. I was then asked if I wanted to try? I said sure and in that moment everyone in the group seemed to enjoy teaching me and introducing me into the lifestyle. I was given a box of Padron 1926 Series that evening and I’ve been smoking cigars every since. For sentimental reasons in addition to it being an excellent cigar, I always keep a box of Padron 1926 Series in my humidor.
how many cigars do you smoke during the day?
I smoke 1-2 cigars per day. There are days where I won’t smoke at all in order to rest my pallet and taste senses.
which is the best place you have smoked a cigar?
I enjoy smoking alone on my deck at home. My home is nestled at the base of the cascade forest. The air is clean, crisp and oxygenated. I have the pleasure of beautiful wildlife around me. I have a 360 degree view of the sky and I watch the sun rise and set daily. I hear water flowing down from the mountains above and it’s the most serene and peaceful place to meditate and relax. I also enjoy smoking with a small group of people that vibe with spiritually in a lounge or other social setting.
what do you use to cut the cigar?
I prefer to use a guillotine.
how do you feel while you are smoking?
This question is very personal for me and I have only shared the answer with maybe 1-2 people however I will give you a bit of insight into my feelings. Smoking a cigar is an intimate and personal experience for me. It’s sensual and sexy and I’m in a state of pure pleasure. I mediate and my thoughts are in that moment without interruption. I prefer not to give cigar reviews or to give my opinion on a cigar because my experience is erotic and not appropriate for sharing with anyone but myself. When I’m asked my opinion of a cigar… I take a moment before answering and remove my personal feelings and thoughts.
when do you light your first cigar of the day?
I enjoy a morning smoke with fresh ground and brewed coffee or espresso.
what is the cigar for you?
I enjoy a cigar that is Med-Bold and full bodied. I prefer warm earthy or nutty flavors with hints of coffee, coco, spices. The aroma of a cigar is important to the way the cigar makes me feel. The perfect cigar for me takes me to a place that gives me pleasure.
Thank you very much Terri, your interview is interesting and I appreciate you answered at personal question. Good ashes.
